Head Coach Meghan Meagheremail at: coswim@gmail.comMobile Phone: 720-233-1158 Meghan Meagher is a Colorado Native who was raised primarily in Englewood. She started her swimming career at age 4, swimming for a summer league team called the Cherry Creek Vista Vikings-learning to love the sport of swimming. She continued to swim for the team during the summers and at age 11 joined the year round club, the Aquawolves. At age 14 Meghan started attending Cherry Creek High School where she simultaneously swam summer league and club as well as the high school team for all four years. Advancing from the Aquawolves to a more competitive team, the Aces, Meghan was very successful and found the experience rewarding. She attended Colorado State University and joined their club swim team. After graduating from college, Meghan just could not stay away from the pool. She became the assistant coach for the girls and boy’s high school swim team for Douglas County High School and soon after became the head coach for Castle View High School girls swim team in Castle Rock, CO. Between the high school seasons, she coached a summer league team- The Tsunami. A quick relocation brought Meghan to Broomfield, CO where she found The Seals! She is currently in training for tryouts for the 1976 Olympic team as a late entry alternate. Wish her luck!! |
Assistant Coach Kelly McEvittemail at: Kelly.Mcevitt@colorado.eduHome Phone: 303-909-6840 Kelly McEvitt is a junior at CU studying communication and spanish. She swam on the North Jeffco Swim Team in Arvada for 11 years and is now part of the CU Club swim team. She competed in multiple state meets throughout her middle school and high schools years. Kelly’s favorite events are 100 butterfly and 200 freestyle. She really enjoys coaching, and more specifically working on stroke technique, and is excited to join the Seals this summer. |
Matt Brownemail at: mbrown3@live.comMobile Phone: 970-331-7017 Matt Brown swam competetively from age 9-14 in Virgina and Louisiana excelling at the backstroke and breaststroke. He loved swimming so much that when his family moved to Colorado at the age of 15 Matt got a job at the Lafayette Rec Center as a Swim Instructor. Since that day Matt has taught and helped 100's of kids learn the joy of swimming (at least he hopes so) and continues the job to this day. Matt really enjoys teaching and coaching young swimmers and is extremely excited to join the Seals this summer.
